[[DJ-G] Lost Destinations (V2)]

Eh, not so good.

The song itself is too loud. Fix some of the synth levels and it would sound better.

Not only that, but the melodies were too short, a little off key, and got repetitive. There's way too much unwanted distortion in this song. It would sound a lot better if you fixed your melodies and the volumes of the synths.

Also, you're forgetting your buildups! You have some partial ones in there but nothing worth noting. Parts of the song seem like transitions that just drag on, and then the climaxes seem like they just continue to drag on as well.

Not too bad of a song, but it's way too long for it's own good, and it's too loud and distorted. Watch some mastering videos on YouTube to get the hang of mastering.

I hope you don't consider me an enemy now. I'm just trying to provide constructive criticism to help you out :)

Not bad.

Pretty nice work you got here. Very simple, yet it all works perfectly.

I like the synths, nice work with them. Good melodies, and nice mastering. I'm not quite sure if you actually did any hardcore mastering, but it never gets distorted and all the sounds are at perfect levels.

Don't stop making music my friend, you are quite good at it.

Not bad.

Nice job with the 3xOsc synths, but you should get and use some new samples. This could be a much better song, you just need some better drum samples. Look into VEC, but seeing as how nice these synths are, you probably already know what VEC is and FL Studio is probably just a second or third program that you are trying out.

Also, nice mastering with this. Very good job with it. I can't tell if you EQ'd anything, but I can tell that it's very nicely compressed.

Good job with this song. Just need to use some of those better drum samples.

lol thanks.. well to be hones i never used anything else than FL.. i tried Reason and some other ones. but i never made songs in any other program.. i made this to see what the 3xOSC could cus i pretty much never use it.. and what u say abaut the drums. alittle of it could maybe be fixed if i rendered it in a higher quality.. that one is the lowest render option avelibel in fl xD. i never got any sort of teaching in music so i just make music the way i lerned my self along the way. i started cus i got a demo of FL3 long ago. now i use the full FL8 XXl edition. ill be looking into making this a song with better drums. and maybe some better synths at some points. thanks for your review^^

This is great!!! I love it!

I don't know why this doesn't have any reviews or anything yet, it's an extremely well done song.

The only thing I didn't like too much was how "warbley" the main synth was. It probably should have been more smoother. Also, this is called Drum 'N Bass, not Trance. Very nice song though!

Very nice "cheesy" trance song, yet you used VEC 3 Specials Sounds to give you the melody to work off of, and you even used the original .wav samples in the song! Lmao!

Not enough bass

Not a bad song, but the drums are way too stereo separated, and there is practically no bass in the song. Take away the stereo separation, and EQ it so that there is bass. Other than that, epic song man.

There's enough bass in the second part after the slow break to make my keyboard resonate when played on a 2.1 speaker system... What did you listen to it with?
About the drums... well, I guess I was trying to make both the drums and the rest of the song audible without drowning each other out. Maybe I overdid that a bit.

Not bad

Not a bad song but there were a couple things I didn't like.

1) I didn't like the transition from the really nice epic pad to the rest of the song.

2) I didn't like the pitch automations, they took away from the song.

3) Where's the bass? I can't hear any bass dude! You need bass!

I liked the melody though. The bells sound like some Cascada stuff. Not a bad job, but fix those things and this song would be so much better. You should also finish it.

Great song!

Very professional sounding. The only thing I didn't like was that the bass drum never really varies. Change that up a bit and this would be even better than it is now, which is pretty hard to do. Very very good song. I like it alot.

Sorry for a not so good review. Be it that I do like this genre, I don't produce it or compose it so therefore I can't really comment on it other than say that it's really really good.

The bass drum is actually intended to be like that, to mimic the marching drum beat that would be playing on a battlefield.

Damn...

That was an amazing song dude. Yet another purely ace track from the god of anything Electronica.

I love the saw bass, simple yet complex and it works every single damn time! The lead in the end is great. This is such a laid back and smooth track, it's great. I'm surprised your taking a break from your regular style of extremely epic and dark Trance songs and did something as chill and laid back as this.

This track is also EXTREMELY professional, as is all of your other work. Mastering couldn't be better.

There are just so many things to compliment on this song that I'll eventually just start to babble, so I'll leave it at that.
