Wow.

Absolutely amazing. I don't agree with the other guy down there, this song is extremely sad. Great work Melody, you are becoming a true composer. I really don't have much else to say because this song is so good.

Haha, it just looped and I barely realized it XD

Phyrnna responds:

Yeah, it loops well! :D I didn't really intend on it doing that, but it does so hence it makes a great loop. :3

Wow, this was great!

Amazing work Melody!!! I really really love this! Great job making something as great as this outa such shitty sounds. When you can do that then you know that you are truly a GOOD artist.

I think you've inspired me to make one for the contest :P

Phyrnna responds:

I'm glad that you're making one! I'd love to hear what you come up with! :D

Meh.

You need a better kick, as well as a clap going along with the kick. Also, the kick is WAY too loud and is distorting everything. Try working on that, cause the melody is pretty good and so is the synth.

Skylence responds:

ok well thanks and i might work on my jumpstyle so i will try to get better =D

Nice song.

Although I have a few questions.

What VST did you use for the main lead and how did you make it, cause I really want a lead like that (to go from plucking to a saw lead). PM me about it.

Pyroific responds:

Sylenth 1 is what i used.

Bleh =/

Still empty. This is not RenoakRythem's fault, as she can't really make the older version of this into an amazing epic Trance song if the original wasn't that good to begin with. You still need a lot to learn my friend, as this song is still extremely empty. The setup of the song isn't very good, and it's extremely repetitive, being that the main lead never ever changes. You still need to fix a lot, and I don't believe that anything more can be done to this song, try starting off scratch and spending A LOT of time on it. Listen to some Basshunter, as that is obviously the kind of music you are trying to make. Get the VST plugin Nexus, as that is an extrememly good VST for the kind of music you are trying to produce, and it's a ROMpler (all presets).

Overall, I didn't really like the song even with Renoak's mastering. Try and try again until you succeed.

its a guy =p

Awesome.

This is a really really fuckin good remix. It actually sounds more like Heavy Metal or Rock compared to Punk. It's got alota Avenged Sevenfold feel to it. Awesome work!

Evil-Dog responds:

Yeah it's true! it's more like soft metal. But the beats are punk but the melodies are more metal.
Thanks for the review :)

I really like this.

The only problem is that the main lead was quite weak. It needs some E.Q. boosting in the mid range, it's a little too treble boosted. Nice work though! Gots ton of potential. Maybe even put a more bassy reese in the final version.

Overall, I really liked the intro, but then the song kinda got worse as the main chorus came in because the main lead is too weak. Try to fix that.

axeFX responds:

Yes... im aware that the main lead is weak. I EQed it that way because its got an annoying arp effect in the mid to lower register. I cut those frequencys to preserve that clean phat saw sound. I'll work on it tho. Thx for the review

Not bad.

The percussion in the beginning was rather difficult to follow (the tom or whatever) and you should have gotten rid of it. But other than that I really like the percussion. It reminds me of these old Trance tracks I used to listen to back in '04. I'd also call this more Dance or Techno rather than Trance.

Overall, I think this song has some potential if you take out the toms in the beginning and in the entire song, and replace it with something else, OR make the beat with the toms more organized in the beginning, but then get rid of them after the kick and the bass comes in.

FernandoDrechsler responds:

Its a kick drum we call bumbo over here, which follows the 8/8 sequence, but in a broken way (You'll notice that once the kick on the song starts, every uneven sequence count has a bumbo hit) making beatmatching easier to follow. You'll get used to it, if you try to mix it, hit the cue button prior the first bumbo hit on the song, and u'll see how smooth it goes...

And the reverbed sound that follows it add some needed groove to the initial part of the song...

K I'll tell you how to improve.

This is much better of a song because of the melody, but everything else about the song needs fixing.

The bass for one, NEVER use a bass sample, cause I can easily tell that it's sampled. Always use a VST. Also, the layout of the song, and I'll be frank with you, kinda sucks. There's no real backbone to the song. Just a kick, a melody and a sampled bass melody. Listen to some more Trance and Dance to see how to lay out a song.

I really do love the melody, and I can't wait for you to redo this song perfectly, cause it will be one hell of a song.

Skylence responds:

thanks =]

Awesome work!

I love the melody! I still dunno how you make this stuff in 3xOsc though. Awesome work!

Kazmo responds:

LoL, I amaze even myself sometimes. :D

Thanks, I'm glad you like it!

Also thanks for stopping by. :]
